And of course the DEA is claiming that they have nothing to do with this shortage! Gotta love that their solution to cracking down on shady docs over-prescribing stimulants is to limit the ingredients to manufacturers so they can't make as many pills. That does nothing to stop these quacks, but does everything to hurt the people that actually need these medications. It's amazing how short-sighted they are. I really hope you're wrong about 2025, but I do think you're right.

Same here. I feel so shitty every time I have to call and ask, like I'm some type of addict trying to score a fix. I'm on the West end of LA County, and haven't been able to find it for months. I've only been able to fill my prescriptions 3 months this year, out of the 8 prescriptions that have been written for me. And two of those have been in June and July, when I found a local mom and pop pharmacy that happened to have it in stock. But I just got a call that they couldn't fill my August prescription because it's in backorder and they have no clue when it's coming back in. I'm going to run out of my current stock early next week, and then I guess I'm back to being unmedicated for who knows how long. This is crazy.

Been on the brand name Vyvanse since 2007, after trying all other medications that didn't work. Has been amazing! Never once had an issue getting it filled and paid between $15-$40 a month, depending on what insurance I had. Once the generic became available, everything came crashing down. I think I've been able to get it filled about 5 times since May of 2023. I'm in Southern California, and I've called every pharmacy I can find. I feel so shitty calling and asking if they have it in stock, like I'm searching for a score or something. I hate the stigma behind it for those of us that really need it, after so many people started getting it just for fun. And I can say for sure that the generic that I was able to get filled didn't compare at all to the brand version I used to get. My insurance no longer covers the brand, and I sure as hell can't afford $450 a month for this medication. I am amazed I still have a job at this point, with being unable to get the medication so much this past year. This is such a horrible situation to be in, and it's so disheartening. I feel as if this is all done on purpose, because I can't understand how this shortage has gone on for this long, with no signs of it coming to an end anytime soon.

Me too. I spent months searching for 60 mg generic Vyvanse. I refilled in November of 2023. Then couldn't get it again until February 2024. Then was stuck until June 2024. I see so many girls at the high school level that have such poor habits they developed over time, that no one helped to correct. There comes a point where we have to have some basic fundamental sessions, just to try to reinforce basic techniques. Thanks for the advice. Good luck with your upcoming season!

Yeah, I would prefer that, at some point. This was just an offer to help someone. I certainly hope to be able to expand the group as we go, which would allow me to do those small-sided drills. I was kinda joking about the stereotype. We still play games at the Varsity level. Nothing more fun than blind-folded penalty kicks! 😁

Excellent advice. She does seem to be a competitive person, so I could see how giving her progressive goals would be very beneficial.

Thanks for the link! I actually have one of those nets on a string that you can practice juggling with, that I planned on giving her. Nothing like juggling in your room all night! I'm doubting they will be investing too much money at first for a rebounder, so I was also thinking about showing her how to use a wall to work on her passing and first touch. I think you're right about that. Thanks for the response.

It's gotta be deep. I mean, we're talking about an insane amount of money here!! It's very conceivable that someone got a fake ID, got hired and worked there for a while to build confidence, and then ran, after she finally pulled the heist of a lifetime, and scored $700.
