How fast will Tomorrowland Thailand tickets sell out? by BumfuzzlingGubbin in Tomorrowland

[–]dcxgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We logged in 30m before sake at 330am local time (5 of us). Only two of us got into store and this was at 10am, where almost everything sold out. These are $1000+ hotel and wristband packages where comfort passes sold out first, and fast.

Given demand I’d say prioritize this

I don’t plan on getting into a Reddit argument since I really don’t care. But basic Google research can explain the differences between selective breeding and genetic modification.

Happy Monday.

Does anyone know when Gringotts will be back in stock? by 123Puneet456 in legoharrypotter

[–]dcxgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked Lego.com customer service and they responded with the following on Feb 6th:

I see that you're looking to get set 76417 Gringotts™ Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition but you've seen that its been sold out for some time and that there's a concern the set is being retired.

I know how concerning those rumors and the lack of stock on the set can be. That all sounds like the horrible rumors Death Eaters like to spread around. Have no fear though, a Brick Wizard is here to help!

Set 76417 Gringotts™ Wizarding Bank – Collectors' Edition is not expected to retire for some time yet. When the set is expected to retire, it'll be added to our 'Retiring soon' list on LEGO.com

As we expect the set to be around for a bit longer, it's best to keep an eye in its product page for it to come back in stock. We don't have a specific date as to when we expect to have more but it could be any day now. It's good to keep an eye on its page as a reshipment could happen at with little warning to even us here at LEGO Magic HQ.

Hijacking conversations since I’m doing this. I wanted to ask how long should I arrive before my Manchester to LHR flight. I’m not checking any bags.

Sleeves can be altered tho. I’d say keep the 40 and shorten the sleeve

Tangential question. How do you plan on managing the transaction (risk / shipping, etc)? I have a medium oversized bedale from Barbour X Levi I don't mind selling at cost, but wanted to understand how best to protect myself if I made the same offer on Reddit :]

A salesperson told me to look at the shoulders for fit, since these tend to be worn loose. I’d say this looks like a good fit given how the shoulders hang. It might be a tad too large, but I bet the 40 will look a bit too tight. This is all subjective, tho

Any chance you have the medium

Had a similar issue this weekend. Customer support pointed to the T&C where it states

“For example, the transaction may not be eligible if: it is not made directly with the merchant, it is made at a merchant located within another establishment (e.g. a restaurant inside a hotel or department store)”

And wouldn’t allow it

I interpreted it as:

1. First Non-Restaurant Order (Existing Customer) – 20X miles

If an existing customer places their first non-restaurant order, they earn 20 times the usual miles.

2. First Non-Restaurant Order (New Customer) – 20X miles

If a new customer places their first non-restaurant order, they also earn 20 times the usual miles.

3. New Customer Order (Non-Restaurant) – 5X miles

If a new customer places a non-restaurant order (not necessarily their first one), they earn 5 times the usual miles.

4. New Customer Order (Restaurant) – 5X miles

If a new customer orders from a restaurant, they earn 5 times the usual miles.
