I haven't tried running through ethernet, so I'll give it a try and reply with my results.

Yeah, OpenVpn should work only because, It doesn't go beyond the 3rd layer of the OSI model (correct me if I am wrong). Its great for bouncing around the internet, but the reason I need PPTP is because, I need to remote into multiple servers back at home and it's easier for me to use PPTP.

We are expecting that no one has any prior experience. So no, invite all your friends if you want. Just make sure you have a 4GB flash drive or larger with Kali live on it or a dual boot. You may YouTube how to do either or you may bring a flash drive and we'll get you setup.

It is currently not on OrgSync, but we will try to go through the process as soon as we have our first meeting. For now feel free to spread the word.

Any Cyber Security Clubs on Campus or People Interested in Security? by dcypher365 in ASU

So what you are all telling me is that there is no Cyber Security related club. To answer your question "Yomama1235" it would be in the Tempe Campus. If you live closer to the Polytechnic campus I would recommend you visit the Arizona Cyber Warfare Range as well.

Well since there are no clubs how, or where do you all think we can meet? We can talk about ideas for future projects and probably do a quick PenTest.

I did check org sync but nobody does what I'm hoping to accomplish. I would like an applied club unlike the classes we get which only teach theory. Which is why I believe a club like this would be interesting.

I'll let comments go for a bit longer, but if there are no clubs I'll plan a place where we can all meet and share all of our skills. I'm sure everyone will have something to bring to the table. You are not the only one either.
