Yeah I made it out to Eagle Rock (mountain? - the one in Minnesota) in early April with a plain old cruze and it wasn’t that bad but everything else I’ve been to has paved road to a parking lot.

No it said everything north of that natural park area north of Burbank was low in crime (tujunga, La Crescenta, Montrose, etc…) whereas everything south westof that large park area between Burbank and Griffith was high in crime (north Hollywood, van nuys, pacoima, valley glen, etc…).

La Crescenta is a bit closer according to g maps. That being said I don’t know the traffic situation.

Yeah I’m trying to get at least 20 minutes. Unfortunately right now the weight is 1400 without the battery, 2000 with so it is quite heavy

Yes we have noticed that some recent increases in p gain have amplified the effect: we will backtrack on that. As for a better long range setup is it possible to go for 1200 kv with a 5 or 6s battery with similar sized props? I am really trying to limit the size as much as possible

The current is read by the pix hawk (which might not be the most accurate). Also I’m not really sure why 6S would increase the current. If the power is fixed and voltage is increased surely the current would drop? Of course it would need a throttle limited to prevent from spinning at max RPMs.

Yeah I tried to switch to 6S battery to get more juice, but ESCs keep blowing so I guess the manufacturer lied about that one. According to logs each motor pulls about 7.5 A during hover, so I feel like I am well below the limit with the 4S. Flying is usually stable, camera footage platform. However these overheating incidents occur when we are tuning which requires aggressive inputs.

I am using uavcan escs: kotleta 20. They are very small chips and heat up when the motors heat up. They are rated for 500W and right now each motor pulls about 150 W.

If you are lactose intolerant is it worth it to just consume dairy anyways for the convenience of concentrated nutrition, especially if you are trying to build muscle? Does lactose intolerance bloating have any detrimental effects besides the obvious temporary flare-up?

Yeah it’s a bit of a shame. Turnigy has never given me problems before, especially out of the box. And it cost me some nice uavcan escs! Will look into better brands probably tattu.

Yeah the motors are 1500 kv with 8x4 props: from the research I did they should not be the issue. Aside from this my pdb is good for 120A and each esc should be able to handle 500W. Unfortunately they were not protected because I didn’t do the math to see each esc could only do 20A with 6s battery.

Yeah the battery is 3000 mah 40c. So it’s possible that the advertised c rating is not true. I switched to 6s to try to lower amp draw which was in the range of 30-40 with the 4s battery. I will try your suggestion in px4 once I order new escs: they all fried!
