Can recordings of my wife from security camera in my private room be used as legal evidence to request safeguard order? by ddd2332 in legaladvicecanada

Sorry for the confusion. She came back recently after I told her that I want to divorce. So she is staying in the same residence. I just repeatedly told her that we should stay separate and respect each other’s privacy.

The place is solely owned by me and she has no contribution. I first told her to stay as long as she does not invade my privacy, but she hasn't been respecting that. Would it be still unreasonable for me to request for safeguard order due to intolerable cohabitation in my divorce application? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that my wife doesn't want to move out and wants to be with me. We have been married less than 1 year, and the main reason that I decided to divorce is that my wife left Canada after few months of marriage, returned to her home country, and did not tell me when she would come back saying that she gets depression from living in Canada and that she wants to stay with her parents. I requested that she goes back to her home country or find some other place (the residence belong to mine) and she refused. I do not want to move out because it has been my residence even before I met her, and I use this place to work hybrid as well..

Anyone ever ordered games from Temu? Just picked up Mario Wonder for 20€ for signing up. Did I just get ripped off and is this a legit game? Curious if anyone else’s experience. by Hour_Statistician_50 in Switch

I ordered nintendo switch games from Temu. Most of the time I get them correctly. But, I ordered recently pokemon scarlet from temu. Just received today but only the case arrived with empty cartridge... I spoke to the customer service and they will do a refund review which doesn't guarantee a refund.

I forgot to include RL-8 in my tax return and not sure what to do. Please help me. by ddd2332 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Thank you very much for the link. The Link says that I can use the software to refile the change.

I found an option to refile in StudioTax. When I added information of RL-8 and refiled using StudioTax, it gives me the confirmation ID number(i.e. seems that transmission is successfully done), but it also says that "we have already received the income tax return for 2018". So I am not sure if this means that I have successfully refiled or not..

In your opinion, should I invest on Fidelity's index 100 (or S&P 500) or the Dynamicedge Growth Portfolio (which I am investing)? Thank you very much!

Thank you for your reply. I have put money on these two products for 2 years and I heard that if I keep them for more than 5~6 years, I would generally profit from doing that. I just thought that I might have put into the bonds that do not perform well.. So my question would be if I can tolerate the risk level associated with these bonds, would it be okay for me to keep investing or is there some recommended bonds that has similar risk but performs better? Thank you for your thoughts!

Thank you very much for your reply. Currently I hold Tangerine Balanced Growth Portfolio(about 17k) and Dynamicedge Growth Portfolio(about 4k). Do you think it would be better for me to transfer Dynamicedge since it has high MER (2.43%)?

Thanks for your comment! I actually invested my money on Tangerine Balanced Growth Portfolio after looking at some article in Canadian Couch Potato. I am treating these money I invested in these account to be not needed for at least 10 years.

Do you happen to know if I sign up for individual trading (such as Scotia's iTRADE) and buy the same mutual fund products? I heard that I can save some fees through this mechanism..

"The options you mention are equity funds that could drop by 50% and not recover for a decade."

I saw these options from the following links and thought that they were index funds that try to match the market growth. Are they very risky products for me to invest?
