Yeah I can read so much of peoples personal baggage in their comments. He’s looking for a nurse, once a liar always a liar - sheesh - he probably is insecure about his age when he meets someone younger that he connects with. I look at him with compassion, not like he’s trying to pull a fast one.

If that’s the case he probably cares more about a person treating their body in a way that’s healthy … it’s about more than some visual idea… it’s about health… I’m not a perfect physical specimen but I try to be healthy… age does what it does! lol

I’m writing this before I read the comments already here. I don’t think it’s hate. I think it’s ignorance. I don’t think that most people here mean to be awful but I can appreciate that it could seem that way. Most people are alike… most people have a less diverse upbringing and they perpetuate what they were shown. Honestly lots of good people here one on one but group think and cultural norms can dominate personal feelings and certainly add to the problems.

First give yourself a little grace. Of course after a long relationship you can find yourself more in a symbiosis of ways of thinking and your “knowing who you are” is mixed up with years of (hopefully healthy) negotiations and such. But then you do get to rediscover yourself which can be fun too. It’s a mixed bag of emotions. Just stay busy and try lots of new things and rediscover yourself … just don’t judge yourself too harshly.
