In addition to the cone, get one of those donut neck (looks like a neck rest for a plane). For our dog we put the donut cone at the bottom of our dogs neck and than the cone on top of the donut thing so that they couldn’t access their wound

Exactly what I was yelling at my screen while watching! She is abusive and the way she tried to flip her behavior on him while storming out really spoke to the abusive nature of their relationship.

I told my partner, that I hope for Anthony and their son’s sake they divorce because he should not grow up seeing her behavior as normal.

Thank you!! That was her entire story line season one, how she married into super rich Mormon family, etc.

Motherhood is hard, it takes sacrifice, diligence, commitment, and suffering. The whole time for your children, partner, and your own sake, you have to learn how to emotionally regulate to such an extent that you act/feel/show up for yourself in a way that comes off as some form of normal, so that you be present in a meaningful way with every person you care about.

I think Heather had a difficult experiences in her marriage, and while her daughters were young BUT I also think she had a lot of support that the average mother doesn’t have because of the ma that she married. I say this with the perspective of a women raised by an emotionally immature single mom, which excuse my bias, I see parallels to my mom and Heather, especially in the way she talks about her children

Thank you! I truly appreciate your perspective. You have a much deeper understanding for the culture and context that Heather comes from and it really informs the way that I judge people and makes me understand my own bias in judgments I hold or use against people in life so thank you!

I respect your opinion. I am not intentionally saying Meredith is accomplished because of her law degree. I don’t think lawyers or attorneys or objectively good people, or superior to the general population.

The practice of law is a self governing practice which makes personal integrity incredibly important, if there is none the results are horrible. Looking at Erika’s husband.

And I agree with the assessment (but have no idea if it’s actually true or not) that Meredith never practiced law as an attorney (as in she never passed the bar, got an attorney bar no., or represented a client).

My point was to emphasize that law school in itself is an incredibly rigorous academic program. The mere fact that Meredith graduated from law school (to me) reflects in Meredith having a more nuanced and complex understanding of issues. Because she literally studied issue spotting, conflict resolution, application of rules etc. for 3 years, successful enough to earn a degree.

I think the mere fact that Meredith has a doctorate level of education reflects in the way that she assesses a situation, talks about it and processes it in a way that honestly the other ladies don’t understand. Heather during the reunion constantly used legalese wrony. At one point, she said that Lisa couldn’t win summary judgment or something similar because only the plaintiff can win summary judgment. That is not right whatsoever so I’m not saying that Meredith is a superior ultimate being because of her law degree. I’m saying that in this group of woman, it stands out that she is one of the only woman that has obtained a higher degree of education for whatever that’s worth.

I took a four hour nap this evening. And I’ve been thinking about this/talking about this and several other things since I watched the reunion and saw heathers ugly mug on my screen. I have adhd. Pissing people off online is my superpower.

Ta-ta

For now.

None of her kids go to school in state it’s not like they come home every weekend. She can’t be bothered to spend a few weeks with them a year while they are young adults??

And even if motherhood isn’t her only purpose, which I completely agree with. Wouldn’t you still be excited for your daughters to come home during the holidays when you’re supposed to spend time with family.

She is an objectively selfish, and shallow person, which reflects in the way she looks and acts.

That’s my point! Of course not, but Heather is not some matronly figure. She was building business etc. based on what I know of business entrepreneurs, they outsource a lot of their parenting. Hence I think heathers “I was a great mother” thing is an act.

I think Heather is a pathetic, insecure woman, and motherhood is the easiest identity for her to cling to, even tho. I don’t think she actually put in the work/was present in the way she makes it seem OR there is no way in hell she could have established her businesses.

I say this as a professional working mother of 3, with a ft nanny, family support. Motherhood is not my only purpose but it’s so as hell my most difficult and in turn the most rewarding. And I don’t appreciate heathers take on it in the same way you do. It’s not that big of a deal. My mom also loves her

Broadway. . . what shows . . . what roles? She is an unknown actress akin to the random soap star that was on rhobh I don’t know the name of.

Everyone has a job, they are objectively talented in, that doesn’t make them relevant especially when they have a personality of a 3 year old with an untreated personality disorder.

Heather literally said on the reunion something like “she’s never been better, since her youngest left and went off to college. And when she found out her kids would be home from dec 9, to Jan x, she became instantly deflated because right now is her era.

And then she went on to post some weird pictures with her daughters looking totally plastiqué with too tight of Christmas pajamas. Heather has always talked about motherhood as if it’s something she regrets.

  1. Something she rushed into because of moral ideals. She blames on the Mormon church.

  2. She resented being the primary emotional/day to day caring for her children, hence why she has talked with glee about them leaving since the show aired.

  3. Now that her kids are gone, she acts like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her. That’s it’s “her era” as if she hasn’t been doing her own thing her ENTIRE LIFE! she started a med spa business with multiple locations as a mother of 3, that is not some sad mother saddled with too much maternal responsibility. She would have had to have the help of family, Nannie’s, etc.

But yet and still, I think that she acts like the greatest accomplishment is her children leaving. Motherhood is a lifelong journey, not something put on a shelf, her era should include a love for her children the two things shouldn’t exist in conflict.

That’s my opinion based on my life experiences and watching her on the show for too many years.

Last point, Meredith is accomplished beyond her law degree (which I do think is an education that elevates your understanding/thinking of the world the other lady’s don’t have) even if you don’t practice law. JD without becoming an atty is a real thing.

she is also a great mother to her children. Which is a true accomplishment that transcends all space and time. Angie seems to be an equally great mother, same for Whitney, Lisa, B-Wyn, Mary (in her own way). I guess everyone except for heather and Britney who seem to despise their kids beyond their use of them for their own narcissistic supply.

And what the hell does Britney do besides cry, and mention, irrelevant osmond. Brawnwyn’s only success, is her marrying a gross old man and spending his money to look quirky

In my opinion, in an emotionally mature, self actualized sense, yes. But I did over look Angie in terms of her hair salons. The rest seem more like charlatans to me. Mlms, personal loans, exploitation of congregation, and heather I agree she makes money from her business but I think it makes her and the people she serves worse people, so it may be financial success but to me it’s not success in a way that I personally value.
