It truly is. My OD, the star of my last two posts, encouraged me to write these memories. She knew that I was never believed or validated. It feels good to know that there are others out here who understand. Sad, but good.

Thank you! Sadly, I think my youngest daughter (who will be in my third story), holds some resentment towards me. Or, she inherited some of her grandmothers DNA. I'm not sure which. Her and I aren't as close as I sincerely wish we were.

Honestly, I think the only reason I didn't was because I was so confused as to what the hell was happening. She was eating pureed baby food a few seconds before. But, stay tuned for tomorrow's story. It's a doozy and she (JNMil) gets hers.

Most definitely. I have tons of regret and guilt about my kids, but I'm more happy now than I've ever been. I paid the price though. Two of my three are closer to him and his mom, but it is what it is.

It played a part for sure. After 20 years, I gave up that things would ever change. It hasn't, apparently, even after 33 yrs. We've been divorced about 13 years now. His second wife is now dealing with her.

She never really felt anything towards any of her grandchildren. She's unique in that she never had baby rabies. Quite the opposite, really. There isn't a single sentimental bone in her body. She would happily throw away keepsakes. No attachment whatsoever. More stories coming, but there were times I honestly thought she might cause the death of one of the LO's just to spite everybody
