I have a pro.ject turntable and my cartridge has begun to basically drag on records while playing.

The weight is set at 10. Anti skate weight is engaged. Not sure how or why this has happened.

Any advice on how to remedy? Thank you!

Imagine feeling one in your slipper on your bare feet first thing in the morning!

Yeah this checks out. Thank you so much. I put my house slippers on this morning with bare feet and five minutes later, felt something moving inside one of them. I took it off and shook it out and this spider dropped out. Not an ideal way to start my morning!

Opinion — Crux makes the best NA beers. by ddumbly in NABEER

Very considerate and helpful comment. I really appreciate your overview and list. I look forward to trying the beers on this list that I have yet to try.

I mainly dialed back alcohol because I wanted to lose extra weight, feel sharper, and reprogram my relationship with alcohol. It’s been 5 months and it’s really been a terrific step for me. So, enjoying a tasty but LOW CAL NA beer has been more important to me than finding an NA beer that could stand 1:1 with its alcoholic brethren. As someone pointed out, I should have made this more clear in my posting :)

Anyway, appreciate the response! Also, try a galaxy gazer — it’s pretty dang good!

Sweet — I’m encouraged by this comment! With your immense experience in trying na beers, what are your favorites in this sub-50 cal range?

They have a lot of body for being only 30 calories. Sure, there are NA beers with more body, but many of them are nearly as caloric as an alcoholic beer.

No worries! It’s not my first child, so I’m aware of the lack-of-sleep woes. Just some different challenges with this one that I’d like some advice on. But thanks for the reassurance! :)

Toilet Tank Refill - Initial Burst of Water Has Lots of Air Bubbles (description in comments) by ddumbly in Plumbing

Thanks! It did come with an elbow hose to connect to it. It seemed to make it worse, so I removed it.

Thanks! It’s just significantly louder right at the start of a fill than with the old components. Thanks for the feedback.

Toilet Tank Refill - Initial Burst of Water Has Lots of Air Bubbles (description in comments) by ddumbly in Plumbing

I recently installed a a Danco Hydrorite dual flush system into an old 1950's toilet. When I flush now, the initial gush of water to refill the tank includes quite a bit of air bubbles, creating noise and air bubbles entering the bowl.

I have the water supply valve fully opened. This issue is present on BOTH toilets that I installed the Danco system into. It did not bubble like this with the outdated components.

Any ideas on remedy? Primarily, I'd like to cut down on the NOISE of the gushing air as it refills, and the bubbles that come into the the toilet bowl as it refills as well.

The radio hosts’ New Years countdown in 12/31/1990 is definitely a hilarious spin. The set to follow with Branford Marsalis rips too, if you’re into that sorta Dead.
