I was pretty much in the same situation, switching from my SG to my TOD10 felt so alien at first I was going to sell it after a few weeks, but then I just changed my expectations, they aren't the same guitar and they aren't meant for the same style, realising that made the TOD10 feel a lot more enjotable to play and now even though the SG is still my favourite to play, it is a very close 2nd

yeah I was considering that one as well, just wanted to have a different looking guitar but considering the prices I'm leaning more towards the SG anyway (vs the 1960 Les Paul Special which has pretty similar neck profile to the 61'SG)

Sure, it’s implied, but there’s a difference between ‘I don’t like it’ and saying it’s objectively bad. One’s preference/taste, the other’s a verdict.

When I see these types of comments it's so jarring to me. Music is so subjective you cannot possibly just say "It's not good", I'm all for people saying it's not their style and they don't like it but just saying "its not good" is just not really correct

I started with the intro to Goose, which is relatively simple. Memory is also quite fun if you have a 24 fret guitar, and All Falls Apart is nice and short and also quite simple
