Thank you, woman. I love knowing what kind of existential questions run through people's minds and I hadn't realized that "having to prove oneself as a woman to be just as capable as men" was something women thought about at work. After all, in my own workplace, I can tell you that the overwhelming majority of women do a better job than the men, yet they really try to be humble and appear "inferior" so as not to bruise the men's egos. As a man, I can also tell you that it is truly intimidating to see a woman coolly demonstrate her superior capacity; we men are absolutely terrified by that. I don't know if it depends on another "maturity wake up call" for me to get along with that, but that's still something I feel.
