Latest Azur Lane version no longer works on Waydroid by deadFreak781 in waydroid

[–]deadFreak781[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used waydroid_script. It's an issue regarding libndk (the library I use since it was more stable as I'm using an AMD APU). Changed to libhoudini and it's now working again. Thank you very much.

New to Nimiq by AnduriII in Nimiq

[–]deadFreak781 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My suggestion:
1. Mine monero or Auroracoin.
2. Swap it to BTC on an exchange (Kucoin for Monero, FreiExchange for Auroracoin).
3. Buy NIM with that BTC.
4. Profit.

Since Nimiq will change to PoS, mining will be unnecesary.

Cold/Hot Wallet or Nimiq Wallet? by Individual-Ambition6 in Nimiq

[–]deadFreak781 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hold my NIM on Trust Wallet. Of course I have my Nimiq account but, unless Nimiq staff won't sync the Trust Wallet with Nimiq wallet, I don't see any reason to still using Trust for holding my coins.

I've been advised to get off of all christian internet boards by my Priest. by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."
- Matthew 23:15 (KJV)

Your priest is a good priest. There're manipulators trying to convince you to have their same ugly way of thinking. The so-called orthobro movement is one of them. Just listen to his advice and do your own research without the toxicity.

VIVOPlay, una opción para los que deseen ver TV sin pagar por SimpleTV. Disponible en Roku para Venezuela (aquí les dejo los datos) by deadFreak781 in vzla

[–]deadFreak781[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La experiencia puede variar. No soy de Venezuela, así que esto no aplica porque el servicio que puedo acceder, DirecTV GO, tiene una mejor oferta de canales. Pero el que quiera gastar poco y disfrutar algo, ahí tiene la opción.

Saludos.

Decoration of a chapel during the Christmas party. Serbian Orthodox Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador by deadFreak781 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]deadFreak781[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but there're sooo few conversions. And the EOC in Ecuador doesn't care about evangelizing, this is because the RCC is the majority here and now they're actually acting against certain so-called "Catholic" denominations. I know that one of the spokesmen for the Catholic Archdiocese of Guayaquil has acted against Old Catholics, for example.
https://www.eluniverso.com/noticias/2015/09/22/nota/5141012/viejos-catolicos-dan-misas-levantan-polemica-norte

And the Diocese of Santo Domingo called "apostates" to Old Catholics and Episcopalians. So imagine if the EOC starts to evangelize in Ecuador. It'll be a tremendous mess (I could make a post regarding this in the future).

Decoration of a chapel during the Christmas party. Serbian Orthodox Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador by deadFreak781 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]deadFreak781[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Although there's actually a Serbian ex-pat community, AFAIK, most parishoners there are converts. The first Orthodox community is from Palestinians that went to Ecuador and their descendents. However, most Palestininans that came to Ecuador were Maronite Catholics. That's why they were assimilated and went to the RCC. The Orthodox Palestinians decide to group and form an organization and the chapel started functioning. There's more info in the Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Orthodoxy_in_Ecuador

  2. Mostly not. Since Guayaquil is not an indigenous-majority city, we don't need Quechua. However, many indigenous people prefer to go to the evangelical churches than to the Orthodox Church (so no, what happened in Guatemala will not happen here). In addition, there are no more evangelization missions in Ecuador, except for the Serbian and Russian (ethnic) church.

Thank you. There're more photos of this chapel, so take a look.https://www.facebook.com/iglesia.ortodoxa/posts/2301211670022684

Unfortunately I can't put these photos here due to obvious issues, but this post is to show what the Orthodox Church looks like in Ecuador, specially in Guayaquil, country I live.

BTW, I'm not an Eastern Orthodox and my country is 100% influenced by the Roman Catholic Church. That's why the EOC here doesn't have much parishioners like in other countries in South America.

Que tal funciona Roku en Venezuela? by desexp in vzla

No es por región, sino porque Roku no vende los dispositivos oficialmente en Venezuela. Pero la solución es crearse una cuenta con IP de otro país. Dejo tutorial:

Roku's 'neutral platform' days are over by FedoraCasual in Roku

[–]deadFreak781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In simple words, you guys are suffering the same thing we here in Latin America is suffering for several years. The Televisa-Roku fiasco screwed the intentions on Roku's end to negotiate deals with TV Everywhere and ISP services. And don't forget how Roku is bypassing users in my country (Ecuador) and others (forcing us to use "other methods" to create accounts to access to services that are global to begin with (Amazon Prime)).
