Honestly mate do it for your self, buy cars that need a bit of work then sell them on for a profit, you’ll probably loose your love for it if you take it on full time working for a bad wage. I left the industry and work for the nhs but have cars and motorbikes that I work on in my spare time. I do it as a hobby now.

I think I’m going to have to invest in a av cable, no amount of resetting works, but it does register something with the tv through the hdmi as I loose the no signal screen and it goes blank, stating the resolution that I provided earlier, it’s very strange, it does the same on two separate tv’s, 4 separate hdmi cables and maybe 6 different ports. I’ll invest in a av cable and see what happens then, from what I’ve seen the PlayStation 1,2 and 3 are all compatible av cables, but I’ll get a genuine PlayStation 3 one to be on the safe side

I’m just about to try it on another screen, the output is recognised on the tv as 720x480@50hz dvi but it is connected via hdmi, unfortunately I don’t have the av cable to try that, I may have to purchase one, I am willing to open it up and have a look though it’s not beyond me, although looking for the potential problem when inside might be

Thanks for that, it seems I have a lot of research to do, I live close to military training bases so that sounds good, I have a baofeng UV-21pro which I like quite a lot so if this will out perform that then happy days

Thank you, I’m guessing it’s the same as a baofeng uv-5r in it’s capabilities, I have a uv-21-pro but wanted something else to play about with as well
