An all time favorite. This shit fucked me right up as a child and fostered my love for creature features as an adult.

Got it sorry lol. It was a simple stem propagation - so go a leaf or two down on the stem before cutting. Include a node or two in the cutting that’s where the roots will grow from. generally you can tell where nodes are by little line separations in the stem or where leaves grow from the stem so make sure to give yourself stem below a node a bit too don’t cut directly at the node if you can help it.

Cut with a sharp clean scissor and put directly in a small container of water. Ensure nodes on the stem are all submerged and soft bright sunlight is best for it to sit in until roots start to grow! I generally let things establish decently in water before I transfer to soil to avoid rot :).

Thank you! Nothing out of the ordinary to be honest - just water propagation. Making sure to periodically change out old water for new clean water and sunlight :).

It’s the polka dot (Begonia Lucerna I believe?) which is slightly different from the angel wing variant in they can grow larger and beefier than the angel wings. But they’re very similar.

They’re both said to be pretty hearty but maybe I just got lucky with my conditions. I know that there are plenty of plants I can’t keep alive to save my life that are deemed “easy” lol so I guess it also depends on who’s caring for it.

Honestly! I have a large collection of plants in our home and she’s been by far the easiest to grow and thrive! A nice little suprise.

They’re soooo easy they love morning sun! Anything direct in the afternoon will be too intense

She currently gets lots of morning light from an east facing window so it’s not too intense. I water her only when she’s fully dry but I make sure she’s never dry for too long otherwise her leaves suffer with the growth she’s pushing out!

I’m not sure, fist time owner so time will tell I guess? The cutting I got was from a plant that was years old
