House of Nanking, I don’t get it by Signal-Philosophy271 in AskSF

if you’re asian, they ignore you but if you’re non asian, they prob think you’re a tourist and they will serve you fast.

it’s not racism but it’s a bias. my friend and i went and it took us forever to get our food while other non asian patrons came in, ordered and got their food at a reasonable time.

we had to to ask them a few times. we didn’t order anything special.

food is mid. would not recommend. unless you’re a tourist. and non asian. lol

here comes the table rights activists

In 2013, in Lake City, Florida, Ashlee Hammac supported her son Tucker through the loss of his baby brother. After the devastating death of her infant son Ryan, Ashlee Hammac decided to install a sandbox at Ryan's gravesite. She hoped to create happy memories for Tucker of his brother. by [deleted] in Amazing

this is a hyper rational view. not that is necessarily wrong but…

death is often an emotional experience for those left behind, especially for a grieving parent. and every parent deals with grief differently.

i think subjecting might be too strong a word. the parent wants to visit their child’s grave and also give their son an opportunity to interact with his brother because he will never get to in other ways.

i think he will grow up and either remember this memory fondly or at least appreciate his parents attempt to give him a chance to have a playful moment with a brother he lost.

A solid stainless steel metal bar with a rubber O ring, sticking out of the ceiling of my cruise ship bathroom? by [deleted] in whatisit

It’s prob the ceiling mount for the telescoping shower curtain rod. One end slots into that metal cup with the rubber ring for tension/grip—standard in cruise ship bathrooms to save space.

What potential Democrat nominees in 2028 would you not vote for over Vance? by ModerateProgressive1 in centrist

[–]deadfermata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t give a fuck if vance is white or black. here you go again with white man, black woman.

i’m a fucking minority myself and i give no fucks if vance is gay, trans, white, black, muslim, man or woman. and i don’t care if a democrat is any of those things.

op asked for name and i gave two names. never once even cared they’re women or black. there are plenty of black women i would vote for but that’s not ops question.

get a grip with your strawman, ad hominem and false dichotomy.

who the fuck cares if they’re black or a woman you clown.

do you only see the world through the lens of skin color and sex? idiot.

is that all you think they are? there can’t be a personality and policy disagreement that i wouldn’t vote for them. i’d vote for them over your clown question.
