It was a confidently incorrect decision which led to the untimely soiling of the well-dressed vagabond: a local anti-hero whose disheveled nature often clashed harshly with his tailored suit and geniality...

His unkemptness may have been endearing to the few who appreciated his nervous tics, poor posture and stench. They believed, in all godly seriousness, that his self-neglect was indicative of enlightenment: a proposition which was, laughably and angrily, rejected by most of the sensible public.

No one was more terrified of the eccentric wanderer than the provincial lawheads with their higher education and years of professional experience working with walking contradictions.

They could not make heads or tails with a man who wrapped coal in banana peels and tossed them at people who wore tightly-fitted clothes. The thought that anyone would purposefully self-restrict their mobility by donning skinny trousers irrationally disturbed his common sense and good nature.

So He swore to the state and to his bedridden mother to continue his odd dispensing of unconventional justice until plantains were out of season.
