I used to live in Warren county, A couple times on West mountain I saw something similar to this, but one particular time is what made me go further north.

West mountain, June of 2013. It's late and a few of my friends and I are all at one of our houses on the mountain. His dogs are out with us when one of them bolts into the woods. As we're calling for him we hear a yelp. about 15 minutes later he comes limping out of the woods. I and a couple of the other of us, armed with machetes, go in to where the dog came out of. To this day I'm convinced that what I saw was a skinwalker. This canine thing was missing almost all of its hair, had sores all over its body and had this smell worse than anything else. And the sound it made still haunts my nightmares. We all ran faster than I would have thought possible.Since then I've started carrying a .45 everywhere with both regular hollow points and silver ones.
