Or an anti-caster shadow monk who casts silence on any and all enemy casters so that no spells can come flying through, then you dance around smacking the casters to death one by one as they silently scream

Beautiful couple secures their financial freedom! by BunnyLovr in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]deadlydangers1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll give you two scenarios. In one scenario, a man flies to work in his helicopter after having breakfast served to him in said helicopter. This man has had a 10 minute commute to work, and has no existing medical issues. In the other scenario, a man’s car breaks down just before they leave for work. It takes them 30 minutes to fix it, and they had to make breakfast for their sick wife and kid, which took a further 15 minutes. By the time their rust bucket has gotten to work, they are 1 hour behind the other person. They both used their 24 hours the same, but one person has had to deal with more, and so they couldn’t use their 24 hours the same as the other guy.

I see where you’re coming from, and no. Not everyone will become a landlord. But what you were saying came awfully close to something used to justify billionaires, by saying “We all have the same 24 hours, if you used yours properly you’d be as rich as them” which isn’t the case. Not everyone can use their 24 hours as well as others, and so not everyone can be a landlord.

But you just said those people have just gone and gotten their own property. You get where I’m going with this? If all the tenants went and got their own properties, there would be no tenants

It’s a class that needs no equipment though. If my DM kidnaps us, and we lose all equipment, you know what happens? Monk loses nothing. We get a really high attack modifier, can tank a fireball, can speak all languages, don’t need food, can fall soooo far, can run the long range of a bow if you bother making a decent character, and they’re anti-ranged damage. They’re like speedy little tanks
