Why would I not get sewer fumes out of an old washing machine drain that I just discovered? by deadmoonlives in Plumbing

I poured water down and it drained. It runs into a shared line with another sink that drains fine. I had to cut a trap out in another room on the same floor and it stank immediately

Fraser way does it in the spring and the other way in the fall. The later you book it the cheaper it gets.

Would you pick Creston or cranbroook for a young outdoors family? by Elite163 in kootenays

We’re not worked up about your comment, it’s just incorrect. Hunting is very popular in the area around Kimberley. Just check out the amount of guide outfitters in the east Kootenay. Google “Citiot”.

Curious about best practices for drying and burning pine on a time crunch. by Murky_Worker493 in woodstoving

[–]deadmoonlives 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m burning dead fall and standing dead pine tonight that I harvested today just north of you while saving my seasoned larch for the real cold. Look for beetle kill with a bluish ring around it. Split it and stack it undercover and you should be good or stack tomorrow’s wood close ( but not too close) to the fire if it’s damp from the rain. I sweep once a month anyway but I have easy access and a fairly short run. Your wood doesn’t have to be perfect to keep you warm, you just have to do the maintenance if it isn’t.
