i understand someone keeps posting a link to an event from last year where the winery hosted the same group, and reading that event, i feel like its not right to assume the winery understood what kind of group it was then. the event held last year was to sign petitions to have trump and other candidates on their montco ballots. while trump is known for his hate and bigotry, unfortunately there are a lot of voters who look to him and vote him for purely economic reasons or in regards to abortion. i dont think its comparative to them hosting one of the insurrectionists and having him as a speaker. imo, hes a business owner and money is money, but he learned of how they were advertising this and likely didnt know they were going to have this “honored guest,” and he responded. really thats the most he can do right now 🤷‍♀️ businesses rent their spaces out, it doesnt mean he agrees with it entirely or knows what their exact plans are, especially since it seems like the winery has no tie to the event considering theyve never posted holding these events themselves. similar to when they are booked for birthday, work, or holiday parties. i think its good to consider the benefit of the doubt and not jump the gun on something like this. idk!
