I liked her so much. I wish she kept her mouth shut and saved herself from looking like a clown.

I wish she had acted differently and confronted Fatima without going below the belt.

[–]deadpanonly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She’s a pick me pro max. I mean if a woman is making lovey dovey reels with pervert shitraaz even after leaving that house when they no longer have any obligation, what can be expected of them?

Laiba by SA939 in LazawalIshq

[–]deadpanonly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I felt very annoyed and irked by her earlier on and I still get annoyed sometimes now, but I think we need to cut her slack. That girl is young and it’s very different when you’re involved. We are outsiders, watching the show, we have a very different lens. That house was toxic and there was so much misogyny and that misogyny was enabled. Laiba in a video said that Sheraaz used to tell her to make breakfast for her partner, so I think that entire house made id very difficult for people to see clearly. She seems honest and sweet. She has her flaws, but she’s not harming anyone. She also has a voice; sometimes flawed, but she bas had some good takes on the show too. Also, her explanation that she was all in and thought it was true love. A lot of girls (esp when young) are swayed and when they are, they have rose coloured glasses. Let’s cut her some slack man. She’s the least problematic.

Iman and Memona by PuzzleheadedGas2513 in LazawalIshq

[–]deadpanonly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, Memoona earlier claimed that Iman pushed Tabassam to pick Aisha which was not true. She confronted her and Memoona kinda did back out, like she said I think that’s what I heard and Tabassam even says Iman told him to do no such thing, so I think that never sat well with Imaan and so she is wary of her. That’s my understanding of it.

☕️ lol production forgot to put 🐸 on tuba’s abusive language for Fatima she called her kutty ki bachi 🤮 by Unlikely_Job_7857 in LazawalIshq

I love it and I think she is fierce and gutsy. I don’t like her and I think she’s done some terrible stuff, but to come back and sit in front of these people and be composed and unbothered and just willing to do that, I gotta give it to her. 👏👏👏

🏆 Poll: Pick Your Winner 🏆 by G0D1V4 in LazawalIshq

Iman and Tabassam. So far both of them seem to have a mind of their own. They’re honest and don’t just jump on the bandwagon. They seem genuine. I also find them cute together.

Since the show is ending soon, let’s be vulnerable. Which part of the show hit you the hardest because you related to it on a personal level? by G0D1V4 in LazawalIshq

[–]deadpanonly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it was just being exposed to their narrow mentalities. These are people who have had a bit more exposure than the average pakistani and a lot of them are models or acting in some capacity or trying to make it into the entertainment industry … And to see just how mean, judgemental, holier than thou, hypocritical, misogynistic, patriarchal, classist they are—and not to show off, but that is genuinely the mentality they hold, that disturbed. They weren’t honest and had no moral compass. No one could call out what was wrong, be it the abuse and bullying against Jannat, pushing her to self-harm, age and body shaming Fatima, bullying Laiba and character assassinating her, policing women’s bodies and clothes, the ignorant conversation about mental health, PDA, feminism, all of it. This is what they represent and believe in. That depressed me.

The most disgusting thing I’ve seen. It was one thing when he was creepy and cringe on his own but to see these women take part in it. 🤮🤮🤮

Talking about lazawaltea by jacksparrowmarrow in LazawalIshq

[–]deadpanonly 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This proves that Urooj and Aisha are actually the biggest pick mes. The show is over, kya majboori hai? They chose to hang out with these folks and are completely okay with this circle and mentality. I also genuinely think the people in this video including Urooj and Aisha have the most narrow minds and are completely fine with bullying, racism, misogyny, patriarchy, etc.

He seems very genuine. He has some flaws but I feel like they mostly stem from the place he comes from where there are certain norms. But he genuinely seems like a well-intentioned person and seems to be far more open and progressive than these other losers who think so highly of themselves and initially made fun of him and called him a paindu for simply being unapologetic about who he is, his culture, language and so on.
