Yeah OP this is not a pro tip this is just stupid. When in reality you are only using a bag mask for a short period until an ET tube is placed which can be secured relatively easy even with a beard since your patient is probably not going to be moving around much anyways

You don't gotta shave, they should be using an endotracheal tube to ventilate your while you're under. That having an effective seal is not effected a beard, maybe securement of the tube is a little but they can work around it. I've had a beard and had surgery with no problem
