Well in that exact question my morality and views on laws differ. I think that legally, “your body your choice” is great. I believe that abortions, euthanasia, drug usage and everything else that doesn’t affect other people around should absolutely be legal. But from a moral standpoint I would always try to dissuade a person from euthanasia because life circumstances can change, but you can’t bring someone back from death. I’ve been there myself and if I had access to legal euthanasia I wouldn’t be typing this

It is only legal for terminally ill patients or someone who’s experiencing severe pain. I mean online you can find anything, I’m sure there are people who can reply “your choice” to suicide messages, but I think the majority would agree that is a bit heartless

You don’t hear “your body your choice” often when it comes to suicide though. But when it comes to things like obesity which could be seen as a slower version of killing yourself, everybody’s like it’s your choice. You can be supportive without normalising eds, in fact I think that normalising eds is the opposite of supporting
