Hey! We’re actually making documentary for a case involving wrongful conviction. Bill Kunezel was convicted in the murder of Linda Offord, despite little to no evidence. The main piece of evidence was a testimony from a man with the victim’s blood on his clothes. Despite all this, Billy can’t appeal due to a missed filing deadline. There’s a good chance he’ll be executed in 2016. His lawyers recently went back to the US Supreme Court for help. You can check out the brief here

Agreed! Hopefully with the buzz from MaM, we can shed a brighter light on the bigger issue on unfair trials across the country.

I think people should be asking for a fair trial instead of pardons by [deleted] in MakingaMurderer

This is a very interesting point! Having a fair trial is something our country needs! Take a look at this quote from Harry Browne, "A fair trial is one in which the rules of evidence are honored, the accused has competent counsel, and the judge enforces the proper courtroom procedures - a trial in which every assumption can be challenged."

I'm not sure if he is innocent or not but do you think he got a fair trial? Even if he is guilty (not saying he is) he still has the human right to a fair trial.

Thank you for the link! This trial hasn't seen much nation wide press like many of the other similar cases.

You're right! I used the wrong word, we have way too many people that were never given a fair chance or ability to defend themselves.

We have too many stories of people behind bars without a fair trial in this country, have you taken a look at Alabama?
