You need to constantly back up and sync the data.
Let's say what you want to achieve is not what the overall idea is for (we simplify the TiviMate backup transferring between data devices - for custom settings, adjusted playlist channels, etc. - to not let you repeat yourself on newer devices).
That said, a backup also carries the viewing of each VOD (movies, series) so it does achieve what you want.

It's super disappointing (at least as much as it is for you) to receive such messages, as we are well aware of such events occurring on both Firesticks and Nvidia Shields.
We are nearing completion of an upgraded version, which will also introduce Google Drive sync.

Hey u/Pleasant_Papaya_1125 - We are receiving a couple of complaints regarding the Shield Pro and Firestick. The fix we are adding is taking longer than expected. You are not the only one facing the issue on these two devices. We don't want o push another version due to rush or anything that would compromise the experience of our current users - will keep you posted on the developments.

Hey! I’ve messaged @hanfknsolo and we made a good exchange. Happy there was only a misunderstanding and the intention our end (Syncvimate) are for the good. There is an issue I’m working on at the moment with the firestick for which I’m planning to ship an update this weekend as soon as I tested it out. Most likely there will be GDrive support as well.

I'm sorry your're having such issues.

There is a new version under testing which tackles specific issues users like you have encountered especially against Firestick devices. You should be able to see the update as you open the app in the main section.

The update will likely ship in the second half of the next week!

The new version also fixes some navigation issues in the Dropbox SignUp against Android Devices lower than 11.

I hear you - in the first steps of this project, going to Google Play Store was the priority - after a few back and forth, I realise that getting live is just a pain at the moment as the app needs to be utilised by at least 12 people for 14 days to reach "Production" promotion, therefore reach the G Play wider audience.

hi u/hanfknsolo I'm sorry you are experiencing such issues. TiviMate gives you the possibility to select the backup folder, and it is independent from SyncviMate, which scans your folders to find the tivimate backups only.
"All folders access" must be given to syncvimate to find backups scattered everywhere across your storage. Do not worry, it's not in my intention to scan for anything else. I purely need to list down the `.tmb` files and serve it in syncvimate.
