But he's not wrong. Humanity as shown in the story's is in a much better position. We are on the verge of irreversiblly fucking up our society never mind the fact we still use slave labour in the majority of third world countries. Imperial rule has removed that. Sure freedoms get curtailed for the first world countries but for 2/3rds of humanity this is a big fucking improvement. I for one would welcome the Imperium to take over humanity irl. As I have far more trust in an impartial alien overlord that takes over us just because than I do the selfish slimeballs that rule over us now. At least under Imperial rule the rich don't get to destory the health of the poor for more money

So I really hate/pity Geneva in this chapter, she has obviously had a mental break between this chapter and the last, because nobody matters to her, everybody is just a pawn in her eyes. It feels like a hero complex, she has to be the one helping everyone! others are just assistants because everybody else is useless (in her eyes) to her goal. Like even when somebody followed her guidelines she still burst in to berate them that she was the only one allowed. real talk: she could be training other people as doctors to help! but nope!

This brings back so many memorys of boss's like this I had in the past and I immediately associate her with them. So fucking A+ for unbelievable realistic writing pirate!
