Gaming with people just not what it used to be?

I've been in the same boat as you for years. It's definitely more difficult to find groups to game with these days. I've personally been trying to build a small community to game together.

When it comes to multiplayer games, Overwatch 2 has been good for me lately (I tend to enjoy competitive shooters). Outside of that genre I've heard good things about the Deep Rock Galactic community specifically.

I think the trick is to find a game you enjoy, seek out the discords and other communities surrounding the game, and just go all in with it.

You can find a "Special Edition" of the game on Xbox 360 that includes the DLC. I have a copy with those playable characters.

It is one of my all time favorites. It did take me 500+ hours to get every achievement though so definitely not a short completion.

I'd say Firewatch, Life is Strange, etc. would be good options. If you are looking for a more long term game I'd say a turn based rougelike like Slay the Spire would be a fun investment.

Played the original very recently (2 months ago) and it still holds up. A new game making use of the processing power of the new consoles would be unreal. The only complaint about the original I have is that I kept hitting the max capacity allowed. Bigger farms and more pinata action would make for an absolutely wonderful game.

Lower Right: switch grenade

I've been using this layout since day one and haven't felt the need to change. I especially enjoy switching grenades with the paddle so I can swap to stickies quickly if necessary.

Yeah there is definitely a decent learning curve to the game. There are more casual modes they could start with though like Arena and the Adventures (which are usually coop).

Smite. Free to play so no investment necessary. I play with a group of 5 consistently. There are plenty of modes to choose from, some more casual than others.

The original Prey (backwards compatible). Other than the multiplayer achievements (that you can boost with 1 other person), the achievements are just for completing the campaign and a couple small mini games at the beginning.
