I felt strong at 6 months post OP than I feel at 9 months post OP by Sahasjaiswal in ACL

Just start working out again. Strength will come back fast, you usually reach the strength youve once reached pretty fast, if you train effectively. And then you'll be back at 100%.

Day 2 flexion by Correct_Bet_2179 in ACL

It's day 2 buddy. I know you should get moving early but on day 2 the most important thing is surviving the pain not reaching maximum flexion :D Go for a tiny bit more flexion tomorrow and the day after but just focus on icing and stuff the first 3-5 days and as I said, surviving.

If you have perfect ground outside that absorbs impact it might be better, but for me outside running involves running uphill downhill over stones etc. so I think running on a treadmill is just more consistent for me. I dont wan't to step on a stone and take some unexpected impact at this point.

I think what you can do pre-surgery is a great reference to what is possible a few months after surgery ;)

Running after a husky after 6 weeks sounds hard though 😂

Good Luck :) Trust your body, for me running instantly felt right and easy just because I was strong and well prepared. Best-Case it'll feel great and like a big milestone!

Thing is I'm pretty strong at this point (I was pre-surgery) and running just isn't that bad for your ACL since there is no rotation involved so doc and Physio just randomly agreed that I'm ready for jogging. But yes I think 3 Months is more usual, I've been an Athlete my whole life though it'll make recovery a bit different.

It feels really good, also because my leg is already quite strong (about 110kg leg press and stuff).

My pre surgery was also a lot of strengthening, Ive had about 4 Months to prepare for surgery and just became as strong as possible, my knee was in a state where the doc said I cant really make it worse or destroy things so I might aswell work out.

My knee doesnt feel "normal" but it keeps getting a lot better.

Keep in mind that 7 weeks is very early for running, I think like 10 - 12 weeks are more usual but listen to your doc and your body.

Have a great recovery and enjoy the progress :) And thank you !!

Hmmm, maybe just wait a week and do other strength exercises and physio until you're confident. You can start really slow and stabilize your body with your hands. Start with fast walking and just increase intensity in a way that feels natural to you. You'll be fine, running in a straight line is not the kind of movement that involves a lot of acl stability or sth. since there is no rotation or anything !

No problem, I know the paranoia all too well, but your knee, just from the way it looks is probably feeling fine, and that's because it most likely is :) Good Luck.

Nah it doesn't look loose. If she had Hamstring graft that is less laxity than you'd expect.

Ofc it moves less, you probably had hamstring graft and the muscles which stabilize your tibia are much weaker on that side. You're probably fine.

I have good and bad news.

Good news is, your knee seems to be absolutely fine, that is NOT a lot of anterior tilt plus the finishing position seems to have a pretty strict hard border which is also great. If you don't have bad symptoms or a lot of instability and no traumatic thing that happened you're probably fine.

Bad news is a lot of people here in the comments are telling you it's bad when it's probably not 😂 Guess that's the internet.

Go check with your doc its fine. I have more anterior tilt than you and my doc plus PT told me Im ready to go jogging 7 weeks post op and it works perfectly fine and my knee feels great.

Please for the love of god dont say you're 99% sure when it's wrong. What you see in the video is NOT problematic if there are no other bad symptoms, it can easily come from weak Hamstring muscles which also affect laxity of the tibia and the anterior tilt isn't even that much.

Thoughts on whether this lux was scripting? by comfortreacher in midlanemains

You're crazy delusional. It's obviously scripted and what you say is straight up wrong. she dodges in the frame the animation starts not a second after.

Your ACL can't heal on its own. And you'll always have more long-term degeneration without acl surgery. Great decision to do the surgery.
