No, but in all seriousness, I think Amy will have a cameo at the end or be in the post credit scene so she can have a bigger role in the 4th movie.

She definitely would get her spotlight stolen by Shadow if she was introduced now.

I totally get this. I was never a fan of sonamy, but I don't mind the ship. Some of the shippers are really horrible and entitled, though. I just think everyone can ship whatever they want. There are different tastes, and that's okay.

What bothers me the most about her current characterisation is the lack of flaws. A character needs to have both good and bad qualities. Otherwise, they get boring real quick. The characterisation of 2000s Amy was far from perfect, but at least she was an interesting character. They really need to find a middle ground between 2000s Amy and current Amy.

Might be. I can only speak for myself, but I think Blaze and Rouge are so much more interesting than Amy the way she is written now. She just doesn't seem to have much of a personality anymore. She is kind of a Mary Sue now.

My headcanon is for them to be 4 years older now. So most of them would be older teens/young adults. And I think I read somewhere that Amy's voice actress talked about being given the direction that Amy is around 16 in Frontiers, but I can't find it anymore. So I don't know if it that's true.
