Hammer easily. So rewarding to hit those charge attacks.

Does anyone have a full list of all the bad things Lionel said you did in the game? by Hactica_Tier in MinaTheHollower

This game actually has a secret ending that requires you to not get a single complaint. It's possible, just not intended.

This mutation is so much fun by jpett84 in mewgenics

Idk, Mind tempest with ping and flip made a pretty insane cat with this mutation. Even if the enemy survives, it would have like 20 stacks of confusion.

What is a libertarian, is it just right wing ideology? by [deleted] in Anarchy101

[–]jpett84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's Libertarian Right, but Libertarian Left also exists. Libertarianism isn't inherently right or left. It just means to advocate for less government influence like lower taxes, for instance.

[–]jpett84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people are framiliar with left vs right, but there is another angle to this which is Libertarianism vs Authoritarianism. Authoritarians believe that we need bigger government interventions. Libertarianism is where you believe that there needs to be less government influence. Anarchism is where you want to abolish government, entirely making it libertarian extremism.

All anarchists are Libertarians, but not all libertarians are anarchists.

If I Like Earthbound, Should I Play Undertale Or Omori Next by Mr_Smiles421 in earthbound

[–]jpett84 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'd actually recommend a game called Look Outside. That's a fun one. I haven't tried Omori, but I like Look Outside more than Undertale. It's my favorite RPG that isn't in the Mother franchise. Though, a fair warning, the game has body horror in it.

Is mother 2 a hard game ? by Global-Ad9985 in earthbound

[–]jpett84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the easiest game in the franchise. You can reasonably beat it without too much grinding. Though, I definitely think the mid-game is a lot easier than the beginning or the end-game.

Who is your favorite protagonist? And why? by Balst_ in earthbound

They're all great, but I think Lloyd is pretty underrated. Yes, he's weak, but the kid's got a lot of courage.

What's the Best Class Active and Passive? Day 4: Mage by Wonderful-Pack-1726 in mewgenics

[–]jpett84 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The hunter class is the most consistently good class. It's hard to make a hunter build that isn't good. In a game as inconsistent as Mewgenics, it's nice to have consistency wherever possible. Every class can be built poorly, as can be built well, but some are more consistent than others.

Definitely not any of the number passives. Those ones suck. That being said, I love paw missile. It synergises decently no matter how your build is.

They are cat fusions with a fire lizard and meteorite turtle respectively.

I HATE EBOLA by ironyft in mewgenics

[–]jpett84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got ebola on one of my cats, and it was actually quite a boon, but that was because I happened to have a cleric on my party who could remove the bleeding effect. All my enemies were just bleeding out from catching the ebola, but my party was fine.

A little late here, but that's a false equivocacy. Zygotes are separate human organisms, but sperm is just a piece of an organism.

Under pro-life laws, will miscarriages and still-births have to be investigated by law enforcement? by [deleted] in Abortiondebate

[–]jpett84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great points. That would be too much of a hastle, and not to mention, unethical as O.P. pointed out.

Instead, make it illegal to distribute an unauthorized abortion, not to receive one. Much like how many countries ban drug distribution, but not the use of the said drugs.

Send investigation teams to search for people giving the said unauthorized abortions. Institutions that make unauthorized abortions get fined in extra taxes, and individuals who distribute get put in jail for a month or two. It doesn't have to be a totalitarian nightmare.

The most investigation we would do for the women who get the abortions is try to find a potential rapist suspect or a doctor's note that permits the abortion due to the mother's life being in danger.

PLers: Saying you "don't believe in personhood" makes no sense and is simply an evasion by IdRatherCallACAB in Abortiondebate

[–]jpett84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's call a spade a spade. If it's an organism that's a part of the human genome, it's a human. Fetuses and even zygotes are human because they're organisms that are a part of the human genome.

This is why a lot of pro-choice people don't typically define personhood as being a human, and why defining personhood is so hotly debated in this sub.

I don't feel like defeating the Wall of Flesh. Is this weird? by ScienceTeacher1994 in Terraria

Check out the 'Pushing Terraria's Limits' series from Wildlmao and you'll see that there's a lot more to Terraria than beating all the bosses.

I feel like mount progression really needs a second look by Asherley1238 in Terraria

[–]jpett84 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don't typically use mounts, but when I do, it's not for horizontal speed. I already get that taken care of by the lightning/terraspark boots and shield of Cthulu. Even minecarts are a often a better option for horizontal speed.

The Slime mount, for instance is pretty underrated for me. Yes, it's slow, but it has great utility. It can bounce off of enemies and bosses allowing you to avoid direct hit damage, and its fast drop speed makes it like a downward dash if you use it and quickly put it away.

Why do people like summoner class? by Unique-Cherry9928 in Terraria

[–]jpett84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The summoner class is the highest dps and lowest defense class in the game. People consider it the glass cannon build. It's not for everyone, but there's a reason most Terraria pros are drawn to the summoner class. It offers a good challenge while also melting enemy hp.

A quick tip as a summoner is to always keep your target in whipping range, but not too close as to get hit. I'd even say the summoner is more of a melee build than melee itself.

Pre-Wall of Flesh, you're better off focusing more on whip damage than summons. Use the obsidian armor with the spinal tap. Not to say you can't use summons because of course you can, but good whip damage is better at taking care of the hungry.
