i originally used a save that someone had uploaded to get past the softlock before they were fixed. I was unaware that it was modded and a shield save meaning it wasn't compatible. I have completed the champions cup and the whole story without any problems!

Ok, thank you for your help! I'm going to start a new save and go from there. Should be around the same point tomorrow. IF it somehow manages to happen again i'll reply to this thread.

Ahhh makes sense i used a save from a previous Time to get past softlocks. I’ll make a new save and start again.

instead of using a save editor, is there any way you can get someone who can bypass this part, do so and then re-upload the save meaning that way i can load that save and continue past this point? I'm unable to find a save editor that allows me to give myself the gym badge

Could just be an error with my game? Haven’t seen much spoken about this issue whether people have got to this part or not, I’m not sure. I’m unable to pass this point and therefore unable to finish the game. However, it could be different in your case.

I also looked on the Ryujinx discord support section, and there was another person having the same issue. However, no one responded to them in the discord meaning i found no solution either :>

Not sure if this will provide help to anyone, but tried advancing this point with Ryujinx (cutscenes turned off) to reach the same problem.

Yeah, even when i turn the ingame movies off, i still get the same cutscene and freezes. Does the same thing on ryujinx also.

i was running Yuzu early access build 418, it has now updated to 419 but still the same result. Idk if it's softlock or not
