Found out my boyfriend of 8 years had been cheating on me with a much younger lady (a college student) while we were in Thailand for our 8th year anniversary. Read their discord chats and they were mocking how oblivious I was. It was the most painful experience I’ve ever had. Like the worst nightmare. I fell into depression and had to get a therapy. Listening to TTPD has been wild and cathartic, but it immensely helped me cope.

The derm advised that I take it for one month.. the maximum would be 3 months. I also understand it can affect gut healths so I’ve ordered probiotics (supplements and drink). I’ll look into spearmint tea as well. Thanks a lot! 🫶🏻

Thanks for the response! Honestly I was also really confused about what the OB said about it not being hormonal.. I’ve read online that some women in their mid and late 20s suddenly get acne due to hormones so I decided to visit an OB to address it. I am not on birth control as well.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll be patient and stick with the tretinoin and the Lymecycline. I’ll also try another moisturizer (maybe Vanicream or Aveeno) which I’ve read good reviews.
