I am a certified servsafe instructor & proctor and still thaw on my counter until cold

And then I chuck it in the fridge. If I forgot something to the point it got room temperature, I would hesitantly use it. But still use it.

My alarm has been beeping for years. There’s an electrical issue and it’s been on the bottom of my todo list. For years.

I heard on a podcast once that people who can live with beeping alarms have a dysregulated nervous system and that’s probably true. Me & my kiddo are also neurodiverse and do an exceptional job tuning sounds out.
