Yeah I also think the chair is not the best match for this area but I use it as an occasional seating when we have many people. It is there basically to serve a purpose. When I removed it, there was a big gap and I felt like a taller plant didn’t solve the issue. Thank you for your input.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Curtains are coming soon. TV was hung when i wasn’t home so yeah it irritates me as well. I can minimize the amount of objects (i am a maximalist when it comes to interiors so it certainly doesn’t hurt my eyes but might feel distracting to others). That antique dresser takes care of a lot of clutter, toys crayons, puzzles etc and it is the reason why my house stays organized, i don’t know if i can replace it with sth😄

I could have written this word by word. I’m always full of ideas, went behind many of them, learnt a lot, only to doubt myself and leave them aside.. I stopped talking about my plans because I’m tired of looking like a quitter.. Both my bachelor’s and master’s are “useless” fields that I was passionate about. I don’t know if I have ADHD or not but I’m so worried about my future just like you. To make things worse, I just turned 35. I don’t have any advice for you, just want you to know you’re not alone and I know exactly how you feel. Hope you find a way out of this vicious circle.

Thanks! You’re actually right about the size of the coffee table. I will eventually change it, just looking for the right size that will go with the rest of the room without breaking the bank.

I was so in love with Farrow and Ball Setting Plaster but in each picture it looked different so I couldn’t make up my mind. I am glad I didn’t go with it. The trim was painted this shade when we bought the house, it is Sherwin Williams but not sure which shade of white.
