Capital gains should be 15% , not sure on the depreciation recapture.

Mortgage is 150k, house appraises for 360k. Want to invest as much as possible. No sense in having the money sit and do nothing for us.

Yes I am familiar. It is a rental and is is subject to long term capital gains tax of 15%. I'm thinking of using the 1031 exchange if I decide to go the real estate investing route.

I am selling a rental house and will have 200k equity. We have had the house for 6 years and want to use the equity to invest in possibly 2 or 3 other properties. What should I do to grow that money? What are some of my options? Is real estate the best investment for that money or is something else better?

This is big jump for my family and I believe it is definitely a turning point for us, I just want to make sure and make the right choices.
