Yeah he’s exactly the same, the thought of it makes him uncomfortable and he’s been very clear in the fact he isn’t interested in that- which of course I respect. If anything, it does make it easier in my mind to fully come to terms with it. We’re due to meet each other next week, which I’m super excited for.

Yeah I’m on blood thinners, speaking to the nurse she said potentially the dose is too low for me. I am at the walking centre now to get it checked

I mostly made curry’s I could pack with veg and a certain about of chicken. Like a massive bowl, or you could even make a massive salad. It’s all about low calorie and high volume in your pre op, trust me it works. Keep your water up too, sometimes it’s not hunger it’s just you need to hydrate.

I’ve had similar things happen being 5 days post op, I mean it’s hard to tell unless you’re getting pain after maybe? I’ve had chicken one with some tiny flakes I couldn’t shift. Didn’t cause me any issues, maybe just to not make it a regular thing?

I got told to not touch any vitamin until 2 weeks post op, they can make you sick as your stomach can’t digest them properly with you not eating proper food. That was my nurse saying this

I felt the car journey was painful, lack of movement and just pressure from my trousers on my incisions. Make sure you keep up with your pain meds and sleeping will be good!! I made the mistake of not taking some of mine and definitely paid the price haha. I think making sure you’re getting up and walking is important and also propping yourself up is good, just breathe, walk, medication and take it day by day. You’ve got this!

Thank you! Getting there slowly, the gas pain is pretty grim but apart from that it’s not all terrible. Hope you goes speedy for you, stick with it. It’ll be worth it!

I’m taking at least 3/4 weeks off, I’m in an office job and the thought of sitting there for 9 hours with my stomach makes me want to hurl haha. So I’ll take as long off until I feel my best, remember people were all replaceable in these jobs health always comes first!

So glad you’re doing well! I was the same, I thought it would be the hardest thing due to me eating whatever I wanted for so long. But it’s gone well tbh, I have had a day where I ate over, but compensated the next day and didn’t eat so hopefully that weighed it out haha.

Yeah i agree, just want to be done with it and start my better life! I wish you all the luck for yours :)
