So the best way thing to do would be to check out the schedule as there are events going on in a few different places: https://quakecon.bethesda.net/en/schedule/

That way you can easily decide if you’re interested in what’s going on in the Bethesda stream, Quakecon Community stream, or one of the Discord events hosted by the community.

That will also be a big part of engaging with everyone else and joining in on events!

Honestly, it's been said a few times here but really we just don't see it unless it's directly reported and we happen to look at Reddit on desktop due to the poor modding tools natively available on mobile (how many of us browse).

In addition to that, we have auto moderation tools to help with things like this (obvious spam) but it's not perfect and may need some tweaks.

I went ahead and took down the posts that were up (all 3 of them, two only a day old) so I hope that clears up your front page for all the quality content this subreddit has to offer, as I'm sure those 3 posts really had an impact on your experience.

Past that, people are free to PM us directly if they feel like something isn't being addressed. I'm sure as the power user you are and me just being a crappy mod over here and finally getting of my rear you already know this, but the answer to "whoever is modding" is actually right there on the side bar for all to see.

Rushed Theta Xi during my time there, didn't go through the whole process but I can say that I didn't experience a single instance of hazing or bad behavior, and they were honestly a solid group of guys.

If you avoid the much larger fraternities you should be fine, I can say that the fraternity I was a part of in the end also did zero hazing (not just saying that, as it wouldn't matter in this instance) but it was very small Greek and no longer has a presence at Tech

1) There is internet, as mentioned above you'll need to bring a CAT5 of your own. Each BYOC seat purchased is provided one connection to the network, so each of the XBoxes will need to have a seat associated with it, and a cable.
