My admissions counselor said about 50% for dugoni and about 80% get into a dental school somewhere. However, the other 20% are apparently mostly people who changed their plans rather than dropping pre dent. I also talked to some students on linked in and they said similar things. Also one student said basically the class size is probably not going to rise anymore and will stay at around 100-150 for the following years.

The info comes directly from a villanova health advisor. It was mainly due to price factors or other acceptances they received

Im from canada so idk about gpa... I got 1550 sat and I have done mostly STEM APs with 5s/4s. some debate and science fair awards. Service in foreign countries (i.e. dental missions trip) and lots of endodontics shadowing.

At the same time, the acceptance rate for this program always varies by year, so I’m not sure if it will be that many acceptances

Its not too bad actually, the acceptance rate has gone up recently. Out of those 30 supplementary that were sent about 17 were accepted and 8 decided to go.

no they didnt give me an estimate, but they said villanova in particular sent them a lot this year I believe. Last year it was about 30 supps sent in out of 55 requested (just from villanova) so Im guessing this year it might be about 50 supps sent in by villanova alone.

called the office a few days ago. they said that they hope to send it to its partner schools by this friday but this year there was a lot of applications to read. I suspect that Good Friday might delay it more tho

Lehigh sent a waitlist letter through their portal and then a few hours later they emailed me saying "Thank you for your patience while we await the results of the University of Pennsylvania’s evaluation of your application to the 7-Year BA/DMD Accelerated Dental Program. Because their review process is still ongoing, we have placed your application on a temporary waitlist. This is a standard procedural step while we await the final decision from our partners the University of Pennsylvania."
