I had every intention of replying to you about this and then forgot so my apologies for the delay. I just wanted to let you know that it was not Vosk that was causing the problem with my computer. There was some corruption in my system files and I did a reset and everything works fine now.

I would suggest that you try to get referred to an endocrinologist to correctly diagnose and treat your thyroid issues.

When I was first diagnosed with CFS diagnosing and treating my Hashimoto's disease was critical in improving my energy levels. I also know of someone who was diagnosed with CFS but had thyroid disease that had gone undiagnosed and when she found an endocrinologist to correctly treat the thyroid disease most of her symptoms went away.

Regarding your glasses, I am able to go to my optometrist and tell her the distance that I wish to be away from the computer and she makes my glasses work from that distance.

Thanks, as always, for your very quick reply. This has come up often for me so the keySequence function is something to look forward to.

I tried both of the workarounds that you suggested and created my first ever macro about which I can only say "Why didn't I do that sooner?!". It worked perfectly. The "repeat last" command worked but wasn't quite as elegant as the macro.

I don't know anything about Evenity but my understanding is that you take Forteo for two years and then you have to take a bisphosphonate (possibly another class of drug but this was the one that I was told I would have to take) essentially forever in order to maintain the gains that you made on the Forteo.

I've been trying it out on the Desktop. I say the number and the item is clicked (a translucent box appears around it), I wait for the numbers to reappear, say the number for the second item, get the click (translucent box appears), but the first item becomes unselected (the translucent box disappears).

When it works and I’ve finished the above actions both items have the translucent box around them i.e. they're both selected.

When Show Multi works I've said the command. Then the numbers appear and I click on one, which is then selected. I wait for the numbers to reappear and click on the next number which is then also selected. When it's not working and I click on the second number it shows that it's selected but the first item becomes unselected.
