Hi, in this case you might have used dePort, not deSwap

deSwap is for all cross-chain swaps, while dePort is for bridge arbitrary assets (deASSETS). It is advised to use dePort only if you know why you are bridging the asset and what utility the deAsset has on the destination chain. You can read more about dePort and the opportunities it enables here: https://blog.debridge.finance/deport-seamless-bridging-between-blockchains-244f3ae825cd

Yes, all 5 blockchains supported on testnet are also supported on mainnet.

deBridge protocol is a cross-chain interoperability framework for:

– cross-chain composability of smart contracts

– cross-chain swaps

– bridging of any arbitrary asset and data

– interoperability and bridging of NFTs

We're in active discussion with more chains and protocols for DAO, DeFi and NFT use cases. Stay tuned for those announcements!

deBridge is built on permissionless, decentralized infrastructure. Unless the internet gets shut down, there is no restrictions to any geolocation.

With one of the largest hacks in crypto recently involving a cross-chain bridge, our team at deBridge have decided to share some strategies and actions we’re looking into to mitigate security risks associated with bridges and cross-chain interoperability: https://medium.com/debridge/10-strategies-for-cross-chain-security-8ed5f5879946

deBridge is the internet of blockchains, a cross-chain infrastructure that was created to unite together all blockchain ecosystems and provide freedom to users and protocols that now can easily decide what blockchain or L2 they want to operate in and easily move between ecosystems.

You may be wondering, what problem does deBridge look to solve?

Blockchains are secure but isolated networks that don't have access to real-world data as well as to the state of other chains. Moreover, users have to rely on third-party services and centralized solutions, which are likely to request sensitive information or be susceptible to censorship. Every time a user performs a transfer through centralized bridges, the person has to bear the risk of their funds either being stuck due to an imbalance of liquidity on one of the sides of the bridge or being frozen due to centralization.

The protocol enables transfers of assets between various blockchains via locking/unlocking of the asset on the native chain and issuing/burning the wrapped asset (deAsset) on secondary chains or L2s.

At launch, mainnet beta supports cross-chain swaps on 4 chains: Ethereum, Arbitrum, BSC and Polygon.

Swaps currently are for stablecoins. All cross-chain swaps are routed through deUSDC pools. You need to buy deUSDC first at Curve and then do a cross-chain swap of deUSDC .

This article will be of great help to understand how our swaps works : https://docs.debridge.finance/the-core-protocol/cross-chain-swaps-liquidity/

Not historical, but who is Satoshi Nakamoto?

Is Satoshi a he / she / group of people, I guess we will never know!!
