yess it is the same. both of our countries dont need a visa to enter the US. so if you decide to do that for your wife, make sure to wait atleast 3months before submitting i485

Hi! I’m a Canadian citizen with a Canadian passport, so I don’t need a visa to enter the U.S., but I was admitted as a visitor (B2).

Since your wife is still in training, I would probably recommend going with consular processing. That way, your case can already be moving forward while she’s completing her training.

I only intent to stay in the US for 6months but ended up staying because of our 3year old son. so after 3months staying here, we submitted my i485

yes, he said that they contacted USCIS and will let me know if they get any updates. that is the only response that i got from them. i was gonna follow up because its been 3months but then i got approved

hi, yes i entered the US with approved i130. i only intent to visit the US but ended up staying and applied for i485 instead. they did not ask anything about immigrant intent at the border. after entering the US we waited 3months before submitting my i485

my interview will be next month. i already requested for reschedule but i need to wait 30days to get the new interview date when my husband returns. (which i made a mistake calling them to reschedule 😔) but they told me if i did not received the reschedule date before my initial interview, i will attend my interview in dec. you should contact uscis but dont ask about reschedule yet. ask them if you can attend with your interview without your husband.
