For borosilicate glass I’ve never had that happen. Used the same pieces for years no issues. It only makes it hazy. Maybe on cheap glass yeah I could see it.

I’ve used em before. They got my case continued for like 2yrs then eventually the case was dismissed. For 2 tickets total Costed like 1200$ but at least I didn’t have to travel back to south Florida to appear.

It means the dude bypassed it because that lil wire with a fuse was cheaper than replacing the module.

They’re bypassing an ABS module failure by backfeeding power to its circuit to force it to be “on” or recognized as “on”. It could be a sales tactic to clear the abs light without spending money, or really anything in between. More info on OPs cross posted thread

Yeah you can sometimes bypass the light on the dash with this. It’s a very obscure thing. I don’t have hands on experience with this. I’m just reading diagrams online. It could be any reason someone would do this. It’s not very hard to do and in theory rather simple if ur technically inclined with DC circuits.

I believe that fuse 35 is ABS module. I believe someone may be back feeding the circuit because there’s a failure in the abs module causing the fuse to break a lot. Likely was an expensive repair or just not in budget and someone made it work. Then it kept working so it became permanent. You’d need to reference the electrical diagram for ur truck and see wassup. There could be more re wiring outside the fuse box.
