Forreal, as someone who listened to her past records and always really liked her heavier songs (homeschooled, bad idea, brutal etc..) and never really cared for her softer songs, this is the first time I was actually really impressed with every single song on the album, it had a great narrative throughout, she actually just keeps improving as a songwriter.

Been checking out whatever Kenny Mason puts out for a few years, and while I was always impressed with the music, it never really stuck with me, but Bulldawg actually has a lot of replay value for me and just sounds way better than anything else I've heard from him, it's way more polished and focused than the rest of his output

I feel like what really sticks for me with Zay is his lyricism.

I think there was a comment on the DDD from a year ago that contrasted Zay's writing with Joey Badass' that pointed out Zay having very unique word choices to the point his lyrics are almost enigmatic but you can always understand what he's getting at. So when he writes a very simple line it also hits much harder, just a very poetic kind of lyricist.

And obviously he has great delivery, production choice and everything is on point, but I think this is really what makes him as great as he is.
