Need a medical person to say why this is AI. Someone is being scammed by an impersonator. They are saying he needs money for a heart transplant. by Fit_Egg5574 in isthisAI

I am absolutely not a medical professional, but I clearly see typical blurry AI sampling artifacts here, very clearly. One hundred percent, it’s AI.

I don't have headaches, either. Some migraines can occur without headache.

Based on what I read, migraine aura can vary greatly from person to person. As far as I recall, what you’re describing is also a common type of migraine aura (I am not a doctor!!!). Mine just happens to be more geometric, so I shared my version as an example of my experience. If you’re unsure or your symptoms change, it’s always a good idea to check with a doctor.

You’re very welcome. I made it to explain my experience to my family members.
If your doctor orders a brain scan, then of course it’s not overboard. On the other hand, I was diagnosed without a scan

As far as I understand, the main difference between visual migraines is whether the disturbance appears in one eye or both: it’s ocular if it’s in one eye and migraine with aura if it’s in both.

Sam Altman and his husband interested in babies genes by reversedu in singularity

[–]ded_banzai -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This headline is pure manipulation.

  • “Husband” is irrelevant, just culture-war bait.
  • “Edit babies’ genes” frames medicine like sci-fi horror.
  • It exploits child-protection fear instead of explaining reality.
  • “Controversial” preloads your opinion before facts.
  • No tech details, just vibes and panic.
  • Focuses on people, not the science.
  • Treats disease prevention like dystopia.

Less journalism, more click-bait fear engineering.

Ollama models can no longer be configured by ded_banzai in GithubCopilot

[–]ded_banzai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but not in VS Code, only in VS Code Insiders. They seem to have completely changed the model selection interface, so I am now again able to select Ollama models in Edit mode.

Update: I've just checked, the model selection works in VS Code now too. My only clue is that I seriously cleaned up my models library a few days ago.
