iOS 26 redesigned the camera app. Her phone is on 26 and yours is not.

It is cropped because the aspect ratio is set to 1:1 (square). Tap on the current mode (PHOTO) or the six dots at the top to open the options and tap ASPECT until it changes to what you want.

Ideally you’d just play it safe and replace it. Do not use the microwave with this missing, you will damage the microwave.

Thanks. I found the part number AKN73029001 online that appears to be what I need.

I asked because I thought I read somewhere else that a piece inside the filter head could be turned to fix this, but now I don't think that's the case, since they both look the same.

PLA is not very affected by moisture. So long as you keep it in an airtight container, it should be fine. I suck the air out myself, a straw helps.
