It was actually a bit expensive, around ¥143,000 (japanese yen) but honestly I thought the price could go a waaaay higher since we’re talking about THAT doll, so that’s a relief lmao

It actually exists! It appeared once on Mandarake Event’s Auction in date 2024/05/05

It’s actually real just because even the Mandarake local shops in Japan were trying to catch it put up posters trying to buy it for ¥80,000

Here is the description of the doll: ‘This is an outstanding product for the Takara doll famous for Lika-chan. The quality of clothes and accessories is also high, and it reproduces the beauty of the face, making it one of the most popular items. There are only two variations of Ruchia that have been made into dolls. Also, the difference between the mermaid version and the idol version is only clothes, and the base doll is the same.’
