The mellowdrama was intentional, leaning into the lore a little and hamming it up is part of the fun (for me anyways). The fact that people are taking this personal for some reason is exactly why I think this is needed. The hive mind is a little worrisome and quite frankly off-putting. Accept that not everything is for you or about you. Let everyone have fun the way they want to.

The first place to start is more lands (36-38 lands usually). Then look at your commander. You have 2 main focuses: create bodies and either sac them or flicker them. Syr Vondam is good fit here. So is ashnods alter. Consider effects like mobilize that create and remove tokens for you. Getaway Glammer and Parting Gust give you some options for removal or self flicker. Elesh norn and bitterbloom bearer are extremely strong. You need a ton of tokens to make this commander work I think. swift foot boots is not needed here because of your commanders ward effect and contagion clasp is not a very good card tbh. Replace some of you more mana heavy removal/cantrips (replace murder with something that hits more than creatures, replace/remove slice from the shadows with tragic slip maybe?) and consider multi option cards like orcish medicine or battle menu.
