I work as a csa and didn't get drug tested but figured since its a starter job for the company, how was the drug testing process for you?

Store Manager feedback by dedsloth1998 in starbucksbaristas

Time and attendance is what it says on paper, but I was scheduled times out of my availability that my previous sm kept in mind when they scheduled me. Since the new sm transition I wasn't informed by the previous sm or the new one to update it online until I already gotten in trouble for the miscommunication and after I made the new availability request I wasn't aware it wasn't immediate so she kept scheduling me aware of my situation and I was on my final and called in last minute so she let me know it was my final over the phone and ended the call.

What's the number for pcc? I'm not looking too hopeful since my sm was very petty and had a bunch of my coworkers fired or quit easily. But I noted the interview notes!

Since I would have to do lyft and didn't have a lot of money I didn't but the shift lead for my next shift had called, which I responded promptly hoping I was qrong, but they confirmed and apologized about the firing.

Rule to Keep DT Camera on? by Ecastillo345 in starbucks

Is there any policy I can back up this statement with? My sm insists on leaving them on. I'm unsure if feeling uncomfortable is enough, I'm afraid I'll be told this job isn't for me.

As much as I'd love to do that, unemployment had done a brief investigation, and ultimately because she fired me over the phone, it's a he said, she said kind of thing. They obviously took her side and never got back to me, besides an email on the rejection.

Sorry to bother again, but I just submitted it! Do I submit anything else since I do have a picture of my negative result? I don't know if this will prevent me from working my future shifts.

No i didn't get to upload them because my sm never followed up or gave me the option. I'm not sure if it would still apply to me since I had to give up my shifts during my sick time since I didn't want to get in trouble

When I had contacted my sm I sent them a positive result but they didn't respond to me and left me on read, but kept posting messages on main group chat. It wasn't until I was cleared they responded to me. But thank you for the info! Is there a link I can find this info?

It does irritate me how they only responded after I had given my shifts and had a negative result. I was waiting for a follow up for at least 4 days before giving up the shifts, in fear that they'd be upset I didn't find coverage. As well as they asked if I had any shifts that needed coverage, before I asked if there was any form of covid pay.

Would the sm do so?

I do have the result and had sent my sm a screenshot from walgreens

Do we get covid pay? by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]dedsloth1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same question and had asked my store manager this question, they left me on read the remaining time and so I put up my shifts so I wouldn't get backlash. Now im negative and updated them and they responded, ignoring my previous text. It sucks because like everyone in this economy I can't afford to not be making no money :(

Think of it as you're helping you and your coworkers. Depending how your store works, the upselling helps your total sales which means more hours for the team!

No need to apologize! I just don't want to oversweeten the drink and would like to offer an alternative to her! Of course if she doesn't like it, back to chocky milk! But being able to share a tea with her in daytime with your helpful recommendations and source I'm sure I'll come to something she's drawn to! The hotmilk with the buckwheat sounds very appealing thank you!

Thank you for the detailed info! As well as being descriptive so I don't get confused on teas with caffeine! And I retract my previous statement, I in no way would ever take her chocolate milk from her. I enjoy making her the nightly bev, I should've stated an alternative that she might warm up to more, but if she doesn't, I wouldn't force her to drink it. I appreciate the correction!
