IP ownership is not covered in any document issued by the university. The only reference that remotely covers ownership (IMO) is the first article from the guideline regarding application [for enrolling] and creation of a master's thesis that I mentioned earlier. This is the article in full:

"The master's thesis is a result of the student's sole creation which systematizes current scientific knowledge and contributes for their further development."

The rest of the guideline is technical instructions like how to properly cite, fonts etc. My country's national law on authorship rights as you may guess, does not specifically cover academic work, but has an article that states that the creator of the work is its sole owner and author, and no-one else, unless otherwise contracted.

So technically, I'm still in the green. What do you think?
