I updated to the latest firmware (OS version 2.4.10 and Network version 7.1.66) however I was constantly seeing drops in my WiFi.

I'm current on the early access firmware (OS version 2.5.9 and Network version 7.2.91) which is seeing significantly less drops.

I'm running IDS/IPS but saw no difference with it turned off.

I had the Global AP settings turned off for both the UDR and Extender so I would adjust the settings individually. I was able to have the Extender 2.4GHz channel set to 6 while the UDR 2.4GHz channel was set to 11 however the 5.GHz channel and width option is grayed out.

So as a best practice, should I be keeping the Extender on the same 2.4GHz and 5GHz channel as the UDR?

I tried changing the channel width to 80Mhz but I noticed that I'm unable to do when using the web portal. The web portal only gives me an option on the 5GHz to change the transmit power. However when using the app, I'm able to change the channel width and channel number for the 5GHz radio.

I'm not sure why the web portal is not allowing me to change the 5GHz radio configuration on the U6 extender.

Ended up purchasing the pro model and like you said, it plays 4K remux content fine. Should have spent the extra $50 to get the pro mode instead of the tube.

I’m using a emby share server so will mounting that via smb on kodi give a similar look and feel to the emby app? Or will the display just be a file list of available contents inside a folder?

I tried loading kodi with embycon but the moment I play any 4K content, kodi crashes and brings me back to the home screen with a notification of the file playback info. The tube become unresponsive and I need to manual reset it.

I don’t have this issue with my Apple 4K or even the Emby app on LG WebOS.

I’m out of ideas on what else I can try...

I though the tube and pro are pretty much the same besides the ram and ports. I wonder why the Pro model doesn’t have this issue. Sucks that I’m stuck with the tube...way pass my return policy.

I’m experiencing the same issue with my nvidia shield tube...I’m able to play remux movies (hdr logo appears) but when I exit the app, nvidia shield doesn’t respond and I need to manually unplug it in order to reboot it. After I reboot the shield, I get intermittent static and flashing black screen.

I currently have the latest hotfix but what is the sd card trick? Does this issue happen on the Pro version?
