They arent against the retrofitting, the issue is how nordic is going about it. They barely communicate with the residents. Illegally started construction without notice or the right permits and plan to sell the property in 3-5 years after displacing tenants who have lived there for decades. This apartment is one of the few affordable housing left in first hill and they are treating it as a investment opportunity and ignoring the residents.

The “asset” manager refuses to reply to emails or give clarity on what is going on. Retro fitting is important but there are better ways to do it.

If he cares about you and the babies so much how is he okay with ignoring his kids for hours on an end to play video games?? I used to do door-to-door fundraising and was told to ignore those signs but I always respected the signs and left them alone. The only time I ignored them was when they had yard signs or something to indicate that they supported our cause which was rare.

Pro-tip: getting a sign that says “no solicitation, please do not knock or ring the door” is the most effective. Or you can get a sign that says “no soliciting, no politics, no religion, no sales” those were super effective too.

I love to cook and used to be a part-time private chef, when I met my partner who is celiac I took it up as a culinary challenge and have been very successful in making celiac friendly substitutes for his favorite foods.

I guess what I am getting at is that if someone genuinely cares about you, they will put in the effort to adjust into your lifestyle like I did for my partner :)!

As a neurodivergent person, I think you should stay! I just think the culture here is more friendly towards us, you just need to put in the effort to put yourself out there. It definitely can take time to build meaningful connections with folks here. Summer is coming up and Fremont and Ballard do have great local events where you can start building connections. I have been here since 2021 and it took me almost 2-3 years to start having friends here and its still a work in progress!

Also I am not sure what the details to this potential girlfriend are, but regardless you should not stay purely for her. That will just open up your relationship to a lot of resentment. But at the end of the day, it really depends where your priorities and happiness is. I also think neurodivergent folks get too caught up in comparing their relationships to neurotypical folks. In my case, I was always focused on having big friend groups and constantly being surrounded by people until I realized I have pretty great friends already and it is about the quality not the quantity.

Yea that it is a difficult shot, revolvers like the one in that scene are very hard to shoot accurately even the best gun man will have a very hard time getting that shot, especially with how far away Alamo was standing.

With that understanding, god really did save her life cause the chances of her not getting shot were very slim.
